Thockomat is preparing for its App Store release. If you already have a TestFlight build, the same setup steps apply.

  1. Install and open Thockomat on your iPhone or iPad.
  2. Open Settings → General → Keyboard → Keyboards → Add New Keyboard and select Thockomat.
  3. Open a text field. Hold the globe key and choose Thockomat.

No Thockomat account is needed. Basic typing works without an internet connection or Full Access.

Themes

Choose your keycaps. Each theme starts with its own default settings.

Feel

Choose a switch sound, then adjust sound volume and haptic strength independently.

Light

Compatible themes offer RGB programs and reactive lighting. Reactive effects appear as you type.

Use the gear button on the keyboard to change settings without leaving your conversation.

Common questions

Why did Apple’s keyboard appear?

iOS uses its own keyboard in secure text fields and in apps that don’t allow third-party keyboards. Repeated unexpected fallback in an ordinary text field may be a problem—please report it.

Why can’t I feel or hear a key press?

Check sound and haptics separately in Feel, along with your device’s sound and haptic settings. Haptic feedback requires supported hardware; an iPad or Simulator may not reproduce an iPhone’s physical feedback.

What does Full Access mean?

iOS controls the keyboard’s access to shared app settings and other capabilities. You can leave Full Access off for basic typing. Thockomat does not send your typed text to Abkarino. See our keyboard privacy policy for details.

How do I remove my learned words and settings?

Removing the keyboard from the enabled list does not delete personalization. To clear the app’s local data, delete Thockomat rather than offloading it. Device backups may restore data. See retention and your choices.

Where are purchases and refunds handled?

Purchases are handled by Apple. For a purchase issue or refund request, visit Apple’s purchase support. Read our terms and EU consumer rights.
